Auxiliary Welfare Grants

Every year the BAMC Auxiliary accepts proposals for grants submitted from various departments across the hospital and associated clinics. Requested items aim to supplement department/clinic funding to further improve the patient experience at BAMC. The BAMC Auxiliary Grant committee meets each Winter after the application period has closed to deliberate and approve proposals that aim to meet the best needs of the BAMC patient community.

Despite the restrictions put in place during the 2020/21 calendar year which limited in person fundraising and meeting, The BAMC Auxiliary was still able to award over $12,000 in funds towards various department/clinic requests.

2021-22 Welfare Grant Application

The BAMC Auxiliary is pleased to announce the 2022 Welfare Grant Application season is open! If your request is fulfilled you must have a representative at the Welfare Grants Ceremony in May. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us. Our Welfare Grants program is an extension of our mission to serve the patients at Brooke Army Medical Center and the military community. These grants are patient-centered and aim to fill needs and budget gaps. Have an idea for how to improve the patient experience at your clinic, department, or facility? Lack the funding to make that idea a reality? Apply for a Welfare Grant!
